We accept patients of all ages and are able to provide Orthopedic care for most areas of concern, including Sports Medicine. Dr. Tankersley treats most problems involving the upper extremity to include: shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. He is also available to evaluate the hip, knee, ankle and foot and provide comprehensive care for the lower extremity as well. Disorders of the spine are limited to non-operative care.
We provide a vast array of Orthopedic surgical procedures. We offer sports medicine procedures for the shoulder, knee and ankle, incorporating minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques where appropriate. These procedures include repair of torn tissues, reconstructions of torn ligaments, and realignment procedures when needed.
Our service also offers management of arthritic conditions of the hip and knee including total hip replacement, total knee replacement and partial knee replacement where indicated.
We are able to manage both pediatric and adult fractures. We treat these non-surgically when appropriate but also offer a host of surgical options when needed. In addition we offer many soft tissue procedures including carpal tunnel release, nerve transpositions, tendon repairs, etc.
